• The exam will be:
  35% or so on Chapters 1, 2, 3, and Sections 5.1-5.5, 5.8 and 5.9.  
  65% or so on Chapters 8, 11, and sections 17.1-17.3. 
• The questions on the newer chapters will be drawn primarily from those submitted in class.

• Begin studying for Exam 2 by developing 6 possible homework problems from Chapters 8, 11, and section 17.1.   Develop 2 problems from each of these Chapters.  One of these should be more straightforward, and one should be more substancial. 
  I will use the best of these problems on the upcoming exam, so you will benefit by having seen them in advance.
