Objectives- Expand the use of built-in functions and expressions in storytelling applications
Built-in Functions
We have learned that properties help to describe objects while methods are things that an object can do. Functions are used to return the value of a property (like how far is this oobject from that object or how wide is this object, etc.)Today, we will expand theanimation to which uses functions to help us to make two characters kiss.
Your task: (which is to be completed individually, though consultations are encouraged...)
Your primary task to use Alice to expand your short animation of A7 into A8 as follows:
- Add a scene either before the A7 kissing scene or after the A7 kissing scene to enrich the story.
- Create a sequence of stoyboards which detail they story of both scenes.
- Export the scenes so you can edit and upload.
- Usie an editor to combine these scenes,add a title sequence, and closing credits.
- Upload to a public video hosting service like youtube, being sure to change the title of the video to something meaningful on the hosting website.
- Expand the artists statement named yourusername-A8.doc which explains both scenes in the context of the story.
- Copy the public link to the video into yourusername-A8.doc
- Submit yourusername-A8.doc and one or more yourusername-A8-#.a2w to Moodle before our next class.
