Announcement:- Exam E2 will be on Thursday, November 29, 2012, so Tuesday, November 27 will be a review day. The exam will cover the following:
- Labs L9-L16
- Assignments A11-A20
- Chapter 7 of the textbook
- Installments 6, 7, and 8 in the Case of the Killer Robot.
- Like Exam E1, Exam E2 will be given in 2 parts.
- Part I will be written and must be completed without notes, text, or computer, and Part I must be submitted before beginning Part II. Part I will consist of a mixture of types of questions, but will be primarily short answer.
- Part II will contains programming problems, which you will program in RoboLab, but will not be allowed to test. However, you will be allowed access to the lab reports and RoboLab programs from teamwork you have personally participated in.
- Note that in the past, students who spend time reviewing before the exam, typically performed better.
- Important Warning: Use of a wireless connection or any program other than Word or RoboLab is expressly forbidden during the entire exam until submission.

Announcement: Exam E1 will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012
Exam E1 will cover the following:- Chapters 1-4 of the textbook
- Labs L1-L8 which cover the following:
- programming concepts: pseudocode, flow of control, container variables, and looping
- robotic concepts: effectors, actuators, sensors, display
- the use of Lightbot, Robo Rally, and RoboLab as programming environments
- Assignments A1-A10 including:
- Understanding some history and currency in robotics
- The first 5 installments in the Case of the Killer Robot and which is designed to help you reflect on ethics, teamwork, and software development
- Exam 1 will be given in 2 parts.
