Learn about the work of the "Spark Plugs" installment #1

Objectives

We have videos of each of the "spark plugs" which are each too long to be useful.  We would like to edit each into segments which are 2-6 minutes or so in length.

Today, you will be viewing:
Please RIGHT CLICK on these links to download the files.  They are not so large as to be problematic unless you try to view them without downloading.  (Clicking the links singly will NOT work, so be sure to RIGHT-CLICK and download.)

In class:
For homework:
  1. Make a Word document named yourusername-PA9.
  2. Watch each video again using the pause button frequently.  You will be marking down segments.   Note that segments which are too long and multifaceted will receive reduced credit.
  3. For each video, mark each SMALL blocks of time as Useful or Not Useful for each and explain in a few sentences why.
For example: Bertie Salyer: 0.0-0.48 Not useful--Bertie is being humble with audience, so this is unlikely to be of broader interest.
(You should have the entire video divided up in these SMALL segments.)
  4. Answer each of the 6 questions above thouroughly and reflectively using complete one or more paragraphs for each question.  Short answers demonstrating little reflection will recived little credit.
When you are finished, upload yourusername-PA9 to the appropriate location in Moodle.
