Assignment P1: Learning Preferences for
Project
This assignment must be completed individually, though
consultations are encouraged. Your task for this individual project assignment
is to discuss your preferences regarding learning on our
project.
This course meets the active-learning (ALE) requirement because
it is a service-learning course and we have community partners.
Service-Learning is a teaching and learning strategy that
integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection
to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and
strengthen communities. In other words, it is employing service in order to deepen your learning.

- Empower them to continue the work themselves after the class is over.
